The plate sizes are brilliant for long thick hair which she has.They leave a nice shine & they keep your hair straight for much longer than other leading brands,however having mid length fine hair myself i felt they snagged a little so i would opt for the classic gold for mine.they are a very good with fast heat up & the sleep feature is excellent 15 May 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good to see the new model has a cut off switch Very impressed ordered at my hairdressers around 17.30 in the evening and received my GHD's by 11.45am the next day, no hassle at all. The new model Gold Max Styler is a lot lighter in weight than the old original ones that my hairdresser uses. Am very impressed, my old model was not GHD so my hairdresser loaned me hers for a week to try, sooo glad she did and that she encouraged me to purchase my GHD's. Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the styler but disappointed there is no temperature control I finally bought a ghd styler after many friends extolling the virtues of the brand. I like the styler very much but am confused that there isn't a heat control on the styler. The heat level seems very hot to me and I would have liked to be able to choose the level myself. Can you please tell me if there a reason why my styler hasn't got individual heat controls? 08 May 2013
